STATEMENT
OF PURPOSE OF THE RYLA PROGRAM
To give interested sophomores
and juniors in Maui County the opportunity to participate
in quality leadership training experiences and activities. These activities will
be led by dedicated Rotarians who will guide the campers in understanding the principles of effective leadership.
CAMP GOALS
-
To assist each camper
in developing a comprehensive view of leadership through an emphasis on team work, motivation and communication.

To allow each camper the
opportunity to sharpen his/her strengths through participation in large and small group activities and discussions.

To broaden each camper’s
understanding and appreciation of what it takes to become an effective leader at home, at school, and in the community.
